Empowering Future Generations

The Rick Baker Scholarship is a philanthropic initiative established by Rick Baker, a successful financial professional and Crossville, Alabama native, in partnership with Snead State Community College. The scholarship fund is designed to provide financial support to graduating students of Crossville High School, helping them pursue higher education and career opportunities.

Beginning in 2023, Rick Baker committed $25,000 annually to the scholarship fund, which will be distributed for the next 10 years for a total of $250,000 over the life of the scholarship program. In 2025, Rick increased the annual contributions to $32,500.  This scholarship is available to graduating seniors, offering them the chance to attend Snead State Community College.

The Rick Baker Scholarship aims to create educational opportunities for students who might face financial challenges, enabling them to achieve their academic and professional goals. Rick’s personal connection to Crossville and Snead State—where he began his academic journey—motivated him to create this lasting impact on future generations, ensuring that students from his hometown have the resources to succeed.
